  1. this is a numbered list!
  2. this is number two in the list!
  • this is a bulleted list!

So… What’s going on here? I’m in the middle of writing out my reactions/thoughts on the latest Nintendo Direct and the piper needs to be payed, I’ve been putting this off long enough. I have to address the absolute mess that my styled lists are across the site. Because it’s not working the way I want them to work, they aren’t helping me, i’m actively working around them.

I’m going through the website and figuring out what headings need to be changed, which ones I like, evaluating which styles need to become their own class, etc etc etc. I’m doing this with HEADINGS and LISTS, because they are all a mess and tacked together with hot glue and bubblegum. I don’t really have what you would call a cohesive “document structure” and I think I need to think about all of this.

*ironically I’m going to be making lists of which lists are shit and referencing that as I go along to fix it all.

Okay so what’s first? Let’s start on the homepage. I’m using h2 for the headings in the 2 cards there. Are there better options?

The sidecard recent posts, tags & hyperlinks are also all h2 with a custom class for the hyperlinks, .dt. I think these need to be different.

Onto the blog list, I’ve noticed some kind of error happening, which is where the tags are supposed to be listed, it just repeats the word tags and then it puts lists out the tags. This is probably pretty easily fixed. And it was! I just had it listed outside and inside the partial.
