This is a work in progress! I’ve been making some changes to the site and decided I’ve put this off long enough!
I first found Ava’s website when the ‘Blog Question Challenge’ was going around.
Jack Baty’s the only other photographer I’ve met on the internet that also posts rolls of film as a complete (even if edited) unit. He’s a tinkerer, writer and a great analogue photographer.
A great example of web 1.0 design, though that doesn’t really cover everything that’s going on here. Brian’s website is one you could get lost on for hours, constantly finding something new to look at and read.
When I first started building this website, I found one of Kev’s projects, The Web is Fucked, and a lot of what he talked about really resonated with me and my journey. I’ve since found his website and have traded some light correspondence. His website is could be inspirational for anyone starting a new website.
Luke’s got a great blog. His posts are introspective and well written and I always enjoy visiting. I especially like it when a recipe pops up.
A friend since forever, a constant source of insight, excellent opinions and cool, Rappy is my one and only cyberbrother. A source of inspiration, Rappy is a CSS God and is always doing (or attempting) something innovative.
A long-running website, The Online Photographer is a pretty interesting source of modern photography news as well as classic photography stories and facts. Worth taking a look at and getting lost in for a few hours.
This is my favorite blog for keeping up with new hand and power tools as well as all the latest news on one of my favorite (and stupidest) hobbies - modular tool box systems.
Drew Mackie’s website outlining various histories and explanations about why some videos are the way they are. Generally fascinating, highly educational and occassionally very funny.
