OH NO!
I’ve had this roll in my backlog to upload for a while. I think it confirms my suspicions that there is something wrong with. While speaking with the owner of a development lab I use, he told me he’s never seen one of these in working order. Looking around the internet seems to confirm that while the feature set on these cameras is often good, and the packages themselves attractive, they are riddled with issues that seem to stem from a fragile flex cable. So… I bought one. There are a bunch of these on ebay for a whole host of konica big mini models and I grabbed one for my model. I will do a blog post when I decide to put that together. Until then, take a look a select few images from this bizarre roll of film. At the very least, there are some cool experimental images here, and also some nice textures to use as layers. Also next time I shoot this I will use a brand new roll of film and leave the expired film at home.
The camera used to shoot this film was the Konica Big Mini 302
