Oh boy I’m behind on the website. Catrena and I had a bear of an April - no work, lots of miserable life stuff which has all been resolved. But now we’re well into May which is the opposite - all work with a smattering of good life stuff (and some colds). But I’ve finally quit dragging it out and put a pin in Resident Evil 6 as well as started two new games.

I’ve also been getting myself knee deep into comics again which maybe I’ll do a full blown post on in the future. I was fairly devasted by the death of Sam Kieth, replaying in my head Tim Seeley talking to me about The Maxx at comic-con and casually mentioning him sitting at a table by himself and not taking advantage of that. His death hit me almost as hard as Lynch’s and Jonathan Gold’s. It’s a shame when your influences struggle and it’s even more of a shame when they die during that struggle. But all we can do is remember them, remember why they were important to you, be it creatively or emotionally or morally, and continue to let those influences grow within you.

ANYWAY here’s to your heroes, living or otherwise.
